fall playlist '13.

My favorite thing to do in the fall is take long drives and walks. Luckily, living in Utah has it's benefits in this department. Now if you can add the perfect soundtrack to that activity, and some good company... it really doesn't get much better.

Allow me to present your fall playlist for 2013.

fall blazers.

fall is here, and fall fashion is all about layers, materials, and the right colors. When you're finally ready to graduate from hoodies and boring sweatshirts, try stepping into the world of blazers and sport coats. Add some nice jeans, a good pair of shoes/boots, and you'll look classy as fuh.

herschel - fall 2013.

herschel has been a busy busy company. It seems as though the planets have aligned in preparation for a couple big releases this fall including colabs with jeff staple, new balance, and hypebeast. They're also realeasing travel, cotton/canvas, rubber bag, wallet, pouch, and laptop sleeve collections and some new styles. Herschel has gone through some huge growth and success recently, and it's undoubtedly due to their hardwork and innovation.

The Jeff Staple collaboration is based heavily on travel. Traveling can be stressful and hectic but with signature staple stylings, this collection will help you stay organized while looking fresh as fuhhhh. "This is a work trip and it sucks, this is a vacation and it's going to be dope... like, why can't everything just be dope?"

Hypebeast's collaboration might not be quite as practical as the Jeff Staple's, but what it lacks in practicality, it makes up for in uniqueness. You won't find another bag like this one. This collaboration launches today (October 2) in a limited run of only 100 pieces to start. If you're into it, get on that asap!

The New Balance collaboration revolves more around exploring the outdoors. There's nothing worse than being unprepared to tackle the wilderness, amiright? Okay, maybe we don't all spend absurd amounts of time in the wild, living off the land and bonding with woodland creatures. But if, for some reason, you did, you'd be set. On the other hand, style is all about pulling from different kinds of inspiration, and this is one of my favorites--vintage utility mixed with comfort and rugged durability.

Take a look at some of the other fall releases and find something you like. Pieces like these can really pull a style together and help you stand out just enough.

You can check out all the news on fall releases by dropping by the Herschel Blog. If you want to scoop up some fresh new gear, take a trip to the Herschel Online store.

how gq are you?

Gq launched their new how gq are you campaign and it's really starting to take off. Finally you can take selfies with a purpose other than snapchatting your friends or uploading mirror pics on instagram (but I'm sure you've never done something that lame, right?).

Here's how it works:

  • create an account
  • upload a picture
  • rate uploaded pictures in the main gallery
  • comment if you have advice or critiques or really like something
  • share your pictures online
  • win. yes, I said win. You can actually win monies and prizes for looking fresh

Not only will your interweb peers help you out, but gq staff will also be active in rating and commenting. You can bet we'll be on there in the near future. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and make us proud.

5am in toronto - drake.

Drakes drops another new track and it looks like he's finally back. He kills this track and leaves you wondering why he ever released 'Started From The Bottom'. I'm lovin' all this new music coming from Drake. Keep it comin' Drizzy.

my songs know what you did in the dark - fall out boy.

Fall Out Boy's new single is awesome. It's so rock and roll, the only things missing are the 80's hair and spandex. That's honestly all I think of when I hear this new song from them. I picture arena's sold out, people chanting along and pure chaos. If the rest of their new CD, Save Rock And Roll, is anything like this song it's gonna be good. I was a big fan of them, but their last two CD's before their break weren't the best. They still had a few good songs on them, but I kinda moved onto other artists. We'll see where this one goes. Until then, enjoy this new single.

drake - started from the bottom.

Drake finally drops a new track. He's been doing a lot of features lately, but this is the first solo Drake track to come out in awhile. It sounds good and I'm ready for more. Enjoy.

a$ap rocky -$ap.

A$AP Rocky's long anticipated album, Long.Live.A$AP, finally dropped yesterday. After months of waiting and numerous release date changes, it's out. I've been waiting on this album for awhile and it was worth the wait. I suggest you pick it up now. Here's a few tracks off the record. Enjoy.
