30 trends for fall 2014.

Here are GQ's 30 trends for fall 2014. I can't say I agree with all of these points, but here are the ones that I like and think will actually apply to people who arent working with celebrity budgets:

white shoes

shearling coat lining

jacket shirts (particularly of the flannel variety)

western (minus the frilly fringe)

and gymwear (as much as i hate to admit it).

go here to see the full list.

kendrick lamar - i.

king kendrick is back with a new track titled "i" and it's not what you expect.

after the "control" verse and all the features he's been doing lately you would expect him to go hard on his newest solo stuff, but "i" is not that track.

"i" sounds more like an Andre 3000 joint and i'm totally okay with that. The song is about believing in yourself and loving yourself – not the norm for main stream hip hop.

take a listen and see for yourself. could kendrick be the next to influence where mainstream rap goes? i wouldn't doubt it.

all i do know is that the King is back and I can't wait for more Kendrick. This marks the start of the new album that should be out soon. Enjoy.

publish fall 2014 lookbook "to coexist".

you may know publish for their joggers and that's really all you need to know. they make some other stuff, but their joggers are really the only reason they're relevant – thanks urban.

i really like their "to coexist" lookbook though. i like how it's more artsy and dark. i mean, kind of defeats the purpose of a lookbook because it's hard to see the clothing, but whatever.

check it out, i've dropped some images below so you can get a feel for what they're got coming.

chainsmokers - kanye ft. siren.

you may know the chainsmokers from their track "#selfie" and hate them because of it. i don't blame you and i'm right there with you. it's stupid, so stupid.

so naturally i'm going to be a little hesitant about anything else they release, but when i saw they dropped a track titled "kanye" i had to bite.

it could be better considering the title, but it's catchy and not terrible like "#selfie".

it's worth a listen and i've put it in the post. i'm curious as to if 'ye will acknowledge it or maybe even remix it.

saucony x white mountaineering 2014 f/w grid 9000 collection.

saucony and white mountaineering team up to bring us this badass collab.

these shoes offer a great look and range in the textures used on them.

the colors used on them also give the shoes some depth and add some character.

the white soles give the shoes some pop and are balanced out by the neutral grey in it too.

keep an eye our for these, they drop in select stores soon.

distortion 2014.

distortion starts today and it's going to be crazy.

don't know what distortion is? i didn't either until a weeks ago. basically it's one huge outdoor party festival. the summer just started here in denmark and the danes take their summer serious. after being trapped indoors all winter they're ready to let loose.

it's not just them though, people from all over europe come to copenhagen and go crazy. they take over the streets and rage. there's lots of music, lots drinking and even more party. i can't do it any justice trying to describe it with words, you seriously just need to watch the videos i posted below.

wish me luck, hopefully i make it out alive.

Abc's of Men's Fashion 48.

Double Breasted

Nature has made all men (and perhaps more fortunately, all women) double-breasted; and of course, all jackets follow suit. A double-breasted jacket really means therefore one with double-breasted fastenings. In this form of fastening the placing of the buttons is most important. The line is often emphasised by having the top button on either side placed where no fastening is possible. It follows therefore that the trick is most useful when a really narrow waistline is being sought. This was most popular in eras when really tight-fitting clothes were worn.

If double-breasted jackets were on the wane in 1964, then we have seen a veritable drought of the style for the past couple of decades. This is partly down to the sea change that took place after the 1980s, when all things Wall Street, including big shoulders, big trousers and big double-breasted lapels, fell from favour and were replaced with tighter, slimmer more high-buttoning single-breasted styles. This has remained the norm – with variations in button numbers from one to four, but always on a single-breasted jacket – for both suits and separates. However, some brave individualists have been waving the double- breasted banner for some time. The designers at Hardy Amies are among these, with the six-button double-breasted style really the signature jacket of the House. Still slim-fit and sculpted at the waist, there are signs that this Savile Row silhouette is gaining favour with other brands now offering it as a chic alternative. The beauty of the style is that it is very flattering, making a man look more like a superman.

USA hits the ice.

Chances are, if you're reading this, you love America. Sweet me too. Glad we're on the same page. Now I'm going to assume that since you love America (North America, that is) so much, you've probably been watching some of the Olympics. If that's the case, please tell me you've been following the men's hockey team. They're playing, easily, the best hockey in the Olympics right now. And while I'll be the first one to admit that The Canadian team is obviously the better team, USA is killing it.

Now you might be saying 'hey james, why in the world are you talking about men's olympic hockey on dripcult?' To you I say, 'first of all, how bout you settle down. Second of all, why don't you let me decide what i talk about on dripcult. and thirdly, have you seen the men's olympic hockey jerseys?!?

Get real. These are the coolest hockey jerseys I've ever seen. Not only do they scream 'murrika', but they're just down right cool. The hidden embroidered lines from the national anthem, the monochromatic stars, the American flag crest. unreal.

Even if we don't win the gold (we're going to win gold), we should get a medal for looking this good.

If there's ever been a time to buy a hockey jersey, and there's rarely a time to buy a hockey jersey, this is it; this is the one to get.

You can pick up a replica jersey here, but if you want one to wear during the big semi-final game against Canada today, you better get out and find one quickly. Let's go USA!
