This post was inspired by yestersdays' post I can Mash-Potatoe. While I was searching for a good picture of Swayze I stumble onto pictures of him in The Outsiders movie. So naturally it sparked my interest and I continued to browse cast photos and screen shots.
I am a huge fan of this style. Mega basic and simple; dare I say classic? The story/book is set in the 60's, but the style is heavily influenced by the 50's. Plain tees, some Levi's jeans and a leather or denim jacket that are all held together with a little hair wax.
Below I have my version of the classic look. The clothes are more fit and slim. This gives shape to the body, instead of hanging loose and falling awkwardly. I've also got links for you if you want to scoop up anything you like.
Side note: I've never seen Emilio or Mickey Mouse look so badass.
