the quicksilver true wetsuit.

so.... quicksilver made a suit. Yes, the iconic surf gear brand made a suit... a men's suit. Weird, right?

At first glance you're thinking, "well, it doesn't look terrible. Maybe a bit form fitting,m but not terrible." It's not until you take a much closer look that your brain explodes.

are you getting it yet?

That's right, these suits are actual wetsuits. Formalwear for the beach. Why did someone think this was a good idea? The answer: nobody knows for sure. But it happened nonetheless.

Is it weird? yes. very much yes. all of the yes.

But is it also kinda cool? also yes.

I'm not saying you should rushg out and buy one, because i haven't tried them, nor do I have a clue if they actually work. But, you know, it exists. so there's that.

dripcult x hillandsyd

the extremely talented and fashionable babes from came to visit me in San Francisco. Naturally, I had to show them san francisco from a new perspective. Did we eat delicious foods? of course we did. did we see some touristy stuff? of course we did. did i have to say "I wouldn't touch that if i were you" frequently? of course i did. but did we go on adventures to find hidden gems? you better believe it.

blue mint.

Yes, I'm aware that summer is coming to an end. But does that mean I can't enjoy summer activities still? Or that I can't still enjoy some of those activities during other seasons? Not, it most certainly does not.

Now, if you're a normal human, you enjoy submersing yourself completely in water aside from taking a shower. Whether it's a lake trip, surfing, the pool or the jaccuzzi, we all love it. Blue Mint will make sure you look good doing it.

Granted, Blue Mint also makes recreational and casual wear. But for me, what they do best is swimwear. I'll admit, it's a lot of money for a pair of trunks. But they're fresh to deff, and if nothing else, can help you pick out a good look.

Pick some up, or find something similar and get it tailored to fit as well as these do.

ride to the beach.

Yesterday I went on a ride with my buddy Jose. We started out with no general plan and ended up at the beach. We took this bike trail down that goes straight to the beach. In order to get there you ride through this section, that on a day like yesterday, looks like you're entering Jurassic Park. The fog, the mist, the lust green vegetation; all you're missing is Dr. Alan Grant, John Hammond and a few dinosaurs. After we passed through Jurassic Park we ended up at Aliso Creek Beach. We hung out for a second and then took off towards downtown Laguna. We enjoyed some food at Taco Loco, hit Third Street and then headed home. It had been awhile since I've really ridden my bike and I was feeling it. It was a good time and a good ride. It's got me stoked for Summer and ready to ride. See you out there.

Thinking About The Water.

Woke up thinking about the beach and the ocean this morning.

Crystal Cove.

I've been in Newport the last couple days relaxing and taking it easy with Kelli. We went down to Crystal Cove to be tourists for the morning and poke our heads around down there. I haven't been down there since the government came and changed some things so it was interesting to see. Fun fact about Crystal Cove: the government came in and decided that they wanted their land back so all of the people living there got kicked out of their homes. They then took some of their homes and turned them into beach house rentals. The other homes were turned into stores, offices or a walk through museums. Basically the people that lived there got screwed. We headed down there in the morning to hang out and catch some breakfast. Unfortunately, they stop serving breakfast at the Beachcomber at 11:30 am. We got there at 11:40 am, really guys? Couldn't serve us breakfast ten minutes later? So we just got some bread and enjoyed a beach front snack. Not even close to satisfying when you want breakfast. Nothing sounds good when you’re in the mood for breakfast, only breakfast does. I saw a building that was the same color as my shirt so I thought I'd get a monochromatic picture going. Shout out to Heidi, rep those colors and that new car! It was a really fun and sad experience at Crystal Cove. It was a beautiful day and a fun place to experience, but in the back of your head you're just thinking that these buildings used to be someone's home. Some person's pride and joy. They looked forward to waking up every morning and walking three steps out their front door to be on the beach. Not any more though. Now their beloved homes are just tourist attractions. I couldn’t imagine.
