troy lee designs - machine jacket.

Just picked up this jacket/shirt over the Labor Day weekend at Troy Lee Designs down in Laguna. They were having a sale and had to swoop this. It looks more like a jacket in this picture, but it's actually more like a thicker button up with a hood. It fits well and is going to make a great light jacket or layer piece this coming fall and winter. drip drip.

Got a new windbreaker from H&M. It's still a little hot for any kind of jacket or sweatshirt, but I'm getting ready for the winter. If it ever comes – stupid heat.

the zipper vs button fly.

Have you ever tried to take off your pants thinking that they were a button fly instead of zipper, and started to tear into the garment? Well I have. I know what you're thinking: "Why are you ferociously taking off your pants? Calm down Hemo Rage!" I'm sorry. Actually, I'm not sorry. But I'm sorry that I'm not sorry. When I want my pants off, I want them off asap! There's not enough time in the day to be wasting precious seconds on clothing removal. In all honesty, it's usually at the end of the night and I'm so tired I just want my clothes off. So without thinking I start undressing for bed and that's when things break, get torn, or fall apart. There are two types of flys you'll find when searching for pants or shorts. The zipper, which we all know and love, and the button fly. Some of you may not be familiar with the button fly, or you just didn't know what it was called until now, but now you do. You're welcome. Personally, I prefer the button fly. To me, it's much easier than the zipper. Yeah it may take a few extra seconds to button up when you first put your pants on for the day, but at the end of the night the pay off is worth it. You just undo the first button and keep pulling down. They slide open with ease and before you know it the pants are off. I find myself struggling with zippers, which shouldn't be the case. They're suppose to unzip hassle free, but for me they don't. Anyway, button fly ftw. Take your zipper somewhere else.

no, i'm not talking about that class you failed in jr. high, I'm talking about patterns and prints. Fashion has been headed towards the 60s and 70s lately and this is just one more trend from that era that's going to be big this summer, especially in men's tank tops. They can, at times, be a bit outlandish, but if you find a good one, they look fresh.

I got some new pants from H&M. I've been on the hunt for some tan jeans for quite awhile now and I finally found them. They are literally the perfect pant to me. They fit perfectly, they move perfectly and they look perfect on me. I am very pleased to say the least. If you run into me I'll probably be wearing them.

roses are red and my pants are too.

I normally would, at all cost, stay away from the red or green combination. Even if it is Christmas, I just think it looks tacky, lame, and much too Christmas-ie. All in all, not a fan. But then I stumble upon this picture. I absolutely love this entire outfit. Everything works so well together. The bright punch of red that demands attention and the little accents of green in the socks and tie to compliment it. I think the blazer being a dark navy instead of black and the white dress shirt also help tone down the red and green combination. I like this outfit, picture, stance, and the overall awesomeness of this picture. drip drip.

21 Sock Street.

Got me some new socks. Stopped by Forever 21 and stumbled upon these guys. Gotta' love basic solid colored socks. It was three pairs for $6.90. Not a bad deal if I say so myself. Just adding to sock the game. They’re that little magical pop that shines at the most random of moments. Step it up.
