we, at dripcult, enjoy looking dapper as fuh. It's just a fact. And you've heard us say it over and over, that the key to taking your look to the next level is the fine details. That is, once you've covered the basics of course. Get a suit that fits. Get it tailored. Get a tailored white shirt to go with it. Find the right tie for your suit color. Then, add a tie bar and boom, you've significantly improved your look.

Currently our favorite tie bars come from the etsy wizard BellaMantra

Take a gander at what she has to offer:

Stop by BellaMantras online shop and grab a tie bar from one of a billion options. I mean, at around $22, you can get some christmas shopping done at the same time.

etsy finds: Necktie & Tie Clip.

Etsy is a forgotten online mega store. You can find some great deals on Etsy. More importantly you can find one of a kind or completely custom things on the site. Today I was browsing a little and stumbled upon these two pieces. The black gingham necktie is classic and can bring a little something extra to your outfit without going crazy. Where you shine is your tie clip, but not literally. Gotti bling = bad & douchey. The octopus tie clip is a unique piece that brings you over the basic threshhold. Any one can wear a basic silver or gold tie clip and there's nothing wrong with that. But not everyone can get away with an octopus tie clip. drip drip.

Handmade Buttons by Jake Osburn

Christmas has come early my friends and all because of a good friend. If you have never met Jake you are missing out. If you never met Jake when he had his lion hair and was known as swoosh hair Jake you are really missing out. Unfortunately for us, Jake now resides in Georgia. We no longer get to see as much as we'd like. Not only is Jake a mega rad guy, but he handmade those buttons you see pictured above. I was on the wonderful book of faces one day and I see a post by him saying, "Does anyone wanna trade for buttons?" I thought this was the coolest thing ever. Naturally, I had to get in on it. At the moment my package of goodies are on their way to him. Be excited Jake, you're gonna love it. The post office is a mad house right now and I recommend you stay as far away from that place as possible. It definitely made my day when I walked out to the mail box and saw that envelope with my name of it. Also it made me start thinking that Drip Cult might need to get on the button game. Thanks for the inspiration Jake! I really like the idea of trading stuff with people too. I want to do more trading! Plus I want more buttons! Who wants to trade?
