The Gap friends and family weekend just ended, but not before i scooped up this killer shearling denim jacket.

The jacket is still available, and gap is always having deals, so it's not too late to find one for yourself for fall.

j.crew fall '16.

j.crew released a handful of it's looks for fall '16 at fashion week. these blends of throwback styles and modern day fits are pretty killer. The ideas are fresh and relevant without being too trendy. This line is looking like the collection that brings j.crew back into popularity for men's fashion.

While you can't purchase these pieces yet, they should be launching in August, which gives you plenty of time to start planning your attack.

palladium backway.

check out palladium's web exclusive line of boots: the backway clp h.

I know, it's not the most creative name they could've come up with.

I love the workboot feel that these have. That slanted wedge sole and an almost nike free-esque segmentation for additional comfort, felexibility and range of motion are killer. Plus, as with all palladium boots, they're going to be extremely durable, and super lightweight for a boot.

stop by palladium's website for more info and grab a pair.

white trainers for fall.

white an cream trainers are the trend for fall. Even if you're wearing black on black on black, it's okay to replace one of those blacks with white or cream trainers for a change. Like a black on black on white situation. here are some examples:

the flight jacket.

also known as the bomber jacket, the flight jacket is this fall's trending style. Originally designed to keep pilot's warm during flight time, the jacket goes back as far as 1917. The flight jacket can come in a million different looks, fabrics, and styles, but should always have the same fit and features: shorter length, a shorter collar that does not fold down, and a roomier fit. check out some examples before running out to find one that fits your look.

In the 1950’s, 14 year-old Åke Nordin from Örnsköldsvik in Northern Sweden spent more time outdoors than indoors. After many long treks in the mountains, Åke decided the backpacks at the time were unsatisfactory and took matters into his own hands by building a wooden frame. This evenly distributed weight across his back so the pack did not end up uneven, pear-shaped, and uncomfortable. It also meant he could carry more weight with ease. Åke’s innovation quickly caught on and in 1960 Fjällräven became the first to commercially make and distribute framed backpacks.

Fjällräven means Arctic Fox in Swedish, honoring the small and highly adaptable predator that lives in the Swedish mountains under the harshest conditions.

From the small town of Örnsköldsvik, Fjällräven has now expanded to every corner in the world. The fundamental ideas remain the same; provide functional, durable, and timeless equipment to make the outdoors more enjoyable for all. We continue to find smart, innovative solutions to make every adventure an unforgettable one.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is, this company is extremely cool, and I don't just say that because it's made in Sweden where it's ridiculously cold. It's just cool. Other words I'd use to describe this brand would be: dope, rad, fresh, neat, awesome, necessary, in my closet. Check out some of their stuff below.

Am i right or am i right? Stop by their website here, or find a Nordstrom or other authorized distributor and gear up for fall.

Hardy Amies Snowdon 2015.

This small adventure,
In that wild place and at the dead of night,
On we wound,
With forehead bent Earthward,
As in opposition set against an enemy,
With eager pace, and no less eager thoughts.

‘Snowdon’ by W.Wordsworth

“Wordsworth’s poem is a story about a battle between ‘man’ and ‘the mountain’. This combined with a more literal colour study of Turner’s palette, formed the beginning of my own story about Mount Snowdon: a modern man’s ascent of the mountain.”

Rag & Bone Fall/Winter '15.

Rag & Bone released this extremely cool video to showcase their new line for Fall/Winter '15. The video features Baryshnikov (google him if you need to) and Lil' Buck (If you know who Lil' Buck is but not Baryshnikov, then we need to work on your life priorities).

Also, I feel like Taylor would wear 99% of this stuff if he could get it in black.

30 trends for fall 2014.

Here are GQ's 30 trends for fall 2014. I can't say I agree with all of these points, but here are the ones that I like and think will actually apply to people who arent working with celebrity budgets:

white shoes

shearling coat lining

jacket shirts (particularly of the flannel variety)

western (minus the frilly fringe)

and gymwear (as much as i hate to admit it).
