my first floresheims.

Just picked these bad boys up--Floresheim Ninety-two Ox in multi gray. A new spin on a classic.

Floresheim is known for it's quality in production and durability on classic styles. And while I'll admit, they haven't always been known for extreme comfort or current trends, they're really starting to turn things around in that sense. Their new styles are lighter, more comfortable, and more fashionable, all while maintaining their durability and reliability.

  • Upper: Soft milled leather or milled leather with camo canvas
  • Lining: Unlined
  • Insole: Non-removable Comfortechnology® PU footbed designed for long-term comfort and wearability
  • Sole: Lightweight, durable and flexible XL Extralight® sole
  •

The Regular price is $175, but right now you can find them at Nordstrom Rack for $119.

    He's an Oggsford Man.

I finished this book this morning and I gotta say, I didn't remember it being so good.

I read it once before in high school, but only because it was mandatory for the class.

Then my buddy Trevor told me he'd just finished reading it and sparked my interest.

Confirmation by Tim right after that I should read it again made my decision easy.

If you had to read it for school in the past, Isuggest that that you pick it up again.

It's a very different book the second time for multiple reasons I think.

First, you aren't being forced to read it and there isn't a test on it. Second, you've lived a little more life and have gone through more experiences (assuming you read the book in high school and have graduated by now). Lastly, you can appreciate some of the theme's of money, love and friendship, now being a little more grown up and mature.

Go read The Great Gatsby if you haven't in awhile or if you never have.

Don't want to buy it? Perfectly understandable. Go to your local library.

They're almost guaranteed to have it; that's where I picked up my copy.

The library actually has a section dedicated to the classics. I may find myself reading through those, who knows?

Take In A Deep Breathe, Brock.

Lately I've been on a bargain shopping binge of sorts. I've always been a sucker for deals. When I see that red sale tag my body starts to tingle. It tingles in as if to inform me, ever so polietly, that it would be an abomination of sorts not to take advatange of such a great deal. I imagine this feeling is similar to the nervous heartbeat and palm sweats that a kleptomanaic feels right before snatching an exposed pocketbook. (Upon re-reading the five previous sentences I have just written aloud to myself, I am begining to interpret this as a much more serious issue than I had initially realized. I'll see someone about getting fixed.)

I was able to snag this grey anchor tank while out fighting in the trenches of world war III (AKA "Black Friday"), for under six bucks if my memory serves me right. I picked up the burgundy jeans while at the mall; James pointed 'em out to me. Eighteen bucks. Two great steals. I recieved the shoes as a Christmas gift from my good friend. They were a great deal as well. Thanks Jose!

Sometimes rummaging through the sale rack, taking the extra time to have a salesman triple-check the stockroom, or complimenting the cashier can save you some big bucks! Happy hunting.
