I'm a big fan of doing my own cooking lately--it helps me keep my diet clean and saves some money. these might just be the best cookbooks I've ever seen.

If you are ever in Park City, Utah you need to go to Davanza's. It's really not an option. It is one of the must go to restaurants in Park City. It is some of the best pizza, tacos, fries, sandwiches and food you will ever eat. I understand that is a very bold statement, but I stand behind it 100%. I also understand that pizza and tacos don't sound like they should go together, but they do. Don't ask how, just accept it and enjoy. Pizza and fries aren't that weird together and are equally tasty. Plus they have ranch for days that compliments your pizza perfectly and fry sauce for your fries. No fry left behind. The other thing that's awesome about this place is the entire inside is covered in beer cans. From wall to wall there are shelves lined with beer cans from all over the world. I'm kicking myself for not getting a picture of the interior, but it slipped my mind. My bad guys. I promise you guys I'll get one and post it up to show you.

This place is the best after a long day of snowboarding. You're tired from being up on the slopes, your legs are sore from shredding all that pow pow, your wet or cold wishing you were somewhere warm and your stomach is crying out for delicious nourishment. There's only one place you can satisfy that hunger and it's Danvanza's. Don't let that stop you from going when you're in the mood for pizza because it tastes good all the time. Quick tip; don't waste your time fighting your way to the Park City location during the snow season. Go to the one at the junction. No crowds and plenty of parking. The other great thing about Davanza's is you'll eat like a king for under ten bucks. You get plenty of bang for your buck here. I highly recommend heading into Davanza's and grabbing a slice if you're up in PC. You won't regret it.

Pizza Night.

It's a pizza party! The other night I had a few people over to make pizza. My other half Kelli, My best friend Jose, and his awesome girlfriend Ayden all came over to partake in the festivities. If you've never made pizza in the comfort of your own home, get on that! To tell you the truth, it's not 100% home made. I mean I didn't make the dough or the sauce or the cheese, but I don't work in an Italian pizzeria, study at a culinary arts school, or live on a farm. Who really has the time to be that authentic? Have you ever made bread? Because I have and it takes a hours, and who's got time for that when you're in a pizza-eating mood?  Anyway, back to my delicious home made pizza and our pizza party. As I started preparing the ingredients and the pizza-making process actually began, I felt like Giada De Laurentiis on the Food Network with a live audience. Alright, maybe I’m stretching it a little bit, but I did feel a little pressure to make sure the pizza turned out as tasty as possible, or at least edible. I’m no stranger to cooking by any means, but I wanted to impress my friends and make sure my creation didn't turn into something gross that they’d be forced to eat out of politeness. I rolled out the dough and decided to make it a stuffed crust pizza, so I wrapped the dough around a few mozzarella sticks and viola! Stuffed crust! Then I sauced it, cheesed it, and tossed it in the oven. A few minutes later, we had our pizza. It was cooked to perfection. I can say that with the utmost confidence because everyone that partook in my glorious Italian treat agreed. I have three witnesses that will gladly tell you just how delicious and tasty that pizza was; go ahead and ask them if you want. Our pizza party was a success, next time I’m thinking pasta night. Who’s down? Get at me.
