the tie bar.

Looking for a new skinny tie? Maybe a bowtie per chance? What about a pocket square? In need of a set of cufflinks? What's your sock game looking like? Have you ever even worn a tie bar? If these questions have caused you to question your adequacy, and you'd like to remedy your errors without breaking the bank, then you need to stop by The Tie Bar.

Don't just take my word for it though, you can see items from The Tie Bar on celebrities and in GQ. If that isn't credibility I don't know what is.

You can check out what The Tie Bar has to offer by clicking here.

Jack Lowe is the founder and director of North London based store and magazine, HUH
"I think the man can make the clothes in the way that they put things together; the way that you pair stuff; the way that you put together a whole outfit. But then I also believe that you should dress for the life that you want, rather than the life that you have, so that's the clothes making the man in that sense."

THE ABC OF MENS FASHION - JACK LOWE from Hardy Amies on Vimeo.

"Style is timeless. If you've got style you have the ability to put stuff together no matter what era you're in, or what the particular trends are for that time. You can always tell if someone's got style, no matter what."

"Fashion is really just the thing you say without opening your mouth... I think style is curation, I think it's choosing the parts that tell your story best."

"It takes a little bit of effort to dress yourself in a way that reflects who you are as a person... It takes a little bit of care."

abc's of Men's Fashion 35.

Toning means the harmony of colour between various garments. In its simplest form one could say it is a question of light and dark shades of the same colour being used together, as, forinstance, a fawn jacket with dark brown trousers. In general it is a question of using colours of the same group together, so that the basic or ground colour of one garment tones with that of another.

Why do we worry about the way we look? Andre 3000 Benjamin put it nicely:

“Some days I wake up and I just want to look a little spiffy. It’s not about what I think other people will say or how I think I’ll be accepted when I walk into a room—it’s about what I’m feeling that day.”

It is foolish to think that people won't make assumptions about us based on the way we look, but we shouldn't allow that to detemrine what we do.

We do it because we like to. Because it allows us to express ourselves. Because we want to.
