light layer.

looking for a light layer to add to your winter wardrobe? Not exactly wanting to spend a lot of money on it? Then may I suggest the mossimo crewneck sweatshirt. Technically not a sweatshirt as it isn't lined with fleece, this pullover gives just the right amount of warmth while adding an extra layer to your outfit, making you look fully out together.

Are you ready for the best part? You can pick one up from target's online store for under $14. If you've just said something to the effect of "wow that's an amazing deal", I shall respond with "I know right?". If your reaction was along the lines of "Are you serious?" I ask you "Would I lie to you?" And if your first instinct was to say something like "cool, i don't care." To you I say, "oh, well um, I just thought, ya know... maybe youdlikeitorsomethingbutit'sfineI'lljustgonow."

Pick one up if you're in the market for something light that looks good.

dyer & jenkins f/w 2013 was funded.

if you backed this project you already know it was funded and you've most likely sent your money in for your goods. if you didn't back them, you missed your opportunity to snag some quality basics. don't worry, you'll get another shot next collection and who knows? they might have a few extra pieces made from this collection to swoop. if i get any info on that i'll be sure to post about it. also i'll get some pictures up when i receive my sweatshirt from them. it'll prob end up on the dripcult instagram account. congrats again dyer & jenkins. i’m stoked this got backed and it’s getting made.

space, the final frontier.

Let's be real--space is awesome. You show me someone that never thought it would be awesome to be an astronaut and i'll show you a giant liar. Unfortunately, most of us realized that math is terrible, and the amount of math studies required to become an astronaut just isn't worth it. So we accepted the fact that we may never float around in space, or visit galaxies far far way, or ride on that chair that spins around at 6 g's. And that's okay. It doesn't mean we can't still space out our lives in one way or another.

Inspiration can come from anywhere, really, so why not somewhere super freaking far away? Why not the farthest thing we can even imagine...galaxies and shiz? Cosmic styles have made their way into fashion, and I, for one, think it's pretty stellar. (<--- nice right?)

It gets pretty cold out there in space, what with the lack of air and sunlight and atmosphere. You might want to bring a sweatshirt.

America + Space? Why not? I mean we were the first to set foot on the moon (assuming mythbusters was right). I guess you could say space is part of being an American.

For the soccer player whose skills are simply out of this world.

Okay so maybe I ran out of puns, but i think you get the idea. I'll leave you with famous words from mr. Bowie.

This is Major Tom to Ground Control
I'm stepping through the door
And I'm floating
in a most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today.

your go-to sweatshirt.

Every man needs a go-to sweatshirt. It's something you can toss on real quick when you're running out the door or you can layer it under your jackets. Your best option for a go-to sweatshirt is a plain, solid colored sweatshirt. Aim for something that's either grey, blue or black. These colors go with almost anything and are more versatile, but obviously you can throw a little color into the mix. I'm sure you already have a go-to sweatshirt, chances are you're wearing it right now. I know I have a few that I'm always throwing on when I'm barely conscious making my way to class in the morning and I'm thankful for them every time.
