cold feet.

Admittedly, I no longer live in a place where freezing feet is an issue, but I certainly have not forgotten the terrible feeling of frozen feets. So for those of you who still have to deal with this problem every time it gets cold, or if you're visiting a colder-than-usual place and want to keep your toes toasty, I've got the solution.

Those tiny disposable feet warmers got nothing on these bad boys. Heated shoe insoles that can be controlled by an app. killer.

The kickstarter campaign for these babies has reached its funding goals so production will begin soon. Better sign up quick if you want to get them before they're full priced.

you're welcome.

Oh man, the newest NikeLabs campaigns are getting ridiculously good! Granted, not every single thing they launch is great, but 9/10 times they really really are. And I don't mean to say that 9/10 products that nikelabs launches is gold, but the campaigns themselves are presented so well.

my current obsession is the most recent acg photography and marketing. Am I going to buy any of this acg gear? probably not: it doesn't snow in california and I'm not dropping $400 on a windbreaker. But do these images make we want to buy the products? Yes. Every single one of them.

palladium backway.

check out palladium's web exclusive line of boots: the backway clp h.

I know, it's not the most creative name they could've come up with.

I love the workboot feel that these have. That slanted wedge sole and an almost nike free-esque segmentation for additional comfort, felexibility and range of motion are killer. Plus, as with all palladium boots, they're going to be extremely durable, and super lightweight for a boot.

stop by palladium's website for more info and grab a pair.

In the 1950’s, 14 year-old Åke Nordin from Örnsköldsvik in Northern Sweden spent more time outdoors than indoors. After many long treks in the mountains, Åke decided the backpacks at the time were unsatisfactory and took matters into his own hands by building a wooden frame. This evenly distributed weight across his back so the pack did not end up uneven, pear-shaped, and uncomfortable. It also meant he could carry more weight with ease. Åke’s innovation quickly caught on and in 1960 Fjällräven became the first to commercially make and distribute framed backpacks.

Fjällräven means Arctic Fox in Swedish, honoring the small and highly adaptable predator that lives in the Swedish mountains under the harshest conditions.

From the small town of Örnsköldsvik, Fjällräven has now expanded to every corner in the world. The fundamental ideas remain the same; provide functional, durable, and timeless equipment to make the outdoors more enjoyable for all. We continue to find smart, innovative solutions to make every adventure an unforgettable one.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is, this company is extremely cool, and I don't just say that because it's made in Sweden where it's ridiculously cold. It's just cool. Other words I'd use to describe this brand would be: dope, rad, fresh, neat, awesome, necessary, in my closet. Check out some of their stuff below.

Am i right or am i right? Stop by their website here, or find a Nordstrom or other authorized distributor and gear up for fall.

Rag & Bone Fall/Winter '15.

Rag & Bone released this extremely cool video to showcase their new line for Fall/Winter '15. The video features Baryshnikov (google him if you need to) and Lil' Buck (If you know who Lil' Buck is but not Baryshnikov, then we need to work on your life priorities).

Also, I feel like Taylor would wear 99% of this stuff if he could get it in black.

my almost favorite flannel.

to be fair, my favorite flannel of all time is also my favorite shirt. So it's unfair to compare other shirts to that one. However, taking that one out of the mix, this is my current favorite flannel shirt.

this lightweight flannel is made by old navy, and is thin enough to wear as a normal shirt during spring as well as fall and winter. I generally pair this with a long-sleeve, white, thermal henley, some selvedge denim, and timberland boots...yes there will be pictures.

It's normall only $35 but right now is on sale for $15, which means you really can't go wrong.

It comes in these other styles as well:

Stop by the Old Navy Website to pick one up. Or I suppose you could also go in to a store and try one on.

winter chucks.

Converse jumped on the waterproof bandwagon and dropped their line of weatherproof all-stars. for only $60, they're definitely worth a shot. take a look:

Designed with a gusseted tongue and brass eyelets, the water resistant Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Rubber is built to help protect your feet during rainy day weather and music festival mud pits. Stop by the Converse site for more info.

Winter is coming to a close, which means I can get away with layering with sweaters instead of giant coats. I can't lie, I do love wearing a good grandpa sweater from time to time. Here's my end-of-winter picks for the last week.

light layer.

looking for a light layer to add to your winter wardrobe? Not exactly wanting to spend a lot of money on it? Then may I suggest the mossimo crewneck sweatshirt. Technically not a sweatshirt as it isn't lined with fleece, this pullover gives just the right amount of warmth while adding an extra layer to your outfit, making you look fully out together.

Are you ready for the best part? You can pick one up from target's online store for under $14. If you've just said something to the effect of "wow that's an amazing deal", I shall respond with "I know right?". If your reaction was along the lines of "Are you serious?" I ask you "Would I lie to you?" And if your first instinct was to say something like "cool, i don't care." To you I say, "oh, well um, I just thought, ya know... maybe youdlikeitorsomethingbutit'sfineI'lljustgonow."

Pick one up if you're in the market for something light that looks good.
